You are cordially invited to attend the next meeting of the non-profit New York/New York City Metro Distance Learning Association. Serving both New York State and the New York City Metro regions, the NYDLA’s mission is to establish an open forum dedicated to the free exchange of ideas and information between corporate, non-profit, academic, and government professionals, concerning the issues and technological changes in the field of Distance/e-Learning and how it can be utilized to improve human performance. Along with the opportunity to build your professional network, this meeting will feature the following presentations:

"Videoconferencing: A Tool for Success in the New Economy": Presented by Dr. Lynn Hunter & Joseph DePersia, co-founders VideoConferencing & Media Strategies, LLC (VCMS)

Videoconferencing is quickly becoming the standard for communications in business, education, and government. Communicating with real-time, interactive technology through Videoconferencing is proving to set new standards and offer new promises for collaborating in this changing global community.
VCMS was formed in order to support organizations with their communications needs in this global economy. This presentation will demonstrate examples of the ease of use of this technology by connecting to a variety of sites as you participate in a few live, interactive videoconferences.

"VoVM Technology for Training, Distance Learning and Education": Presented by: Thomas Capone CEO MTP-USA.com

Voice-over-Visual Messaging (VoVM) can be delivered as links in emails or posted online and in websites, which enables presenters to incorporate both sight and sound into their messages. By combining presentation slides or image files with a voice or a pre-recorded sound-file, presenters can more effectively bring their messages to life. VoVM provides another way to more effectively communicate with an audience -- whether they are down the hall or around the world. In addition, VoVM analytics allow the sender to see who viewed the message, when it was played, and how many times it was viewed. Successful users of VoVM technology range from large multi-nationals to individuals from varied sectors including healthcare, professional services, telecommunications, education, and financial services.
