Microsoft Vista Launches

Are You Ready?
According to Forrester Research, the typical upgrade takes an organization one year to fully implement. Is there enough in Microsoft's Vista to take on the upgrade challenge?

What it does:
> Finds Information Fast & Increases BI
Its pervasive search capabilities return comprehensive results.New tools enable users to bring data from key corporate systems into Microsoft Office programs, so they can work with critical information within a familiar environment. These tools provide business intelligence tools suitable for all personnel and are customizable to each person's role and needs. Together, Microsoft Vista, Exchange & Office can help your pstaff make more informed decisions.

>Simplifies Team Collaboration
Windows Vista, the 2007 Microsoft Office system, and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, together provide "anywhere access" to essential information. New capabilities enable people to manage all of their communication, including e-mail, voice mail, or instant messaging, from a single inbox—while enabling access to that inbox from multiple devices and locations. With these new tools, working away from the office or participating in meetings off-site becomes an easier, more productive experience.

>Protects & Manages Content
The upgrades help streamline complex and costly business processes so organizations can meet compliance requirements and efficiently manage content. Together, these products can make it easier for employees to help protect sensitive business data, and will provide people with integrated tools for managing and monitoring content and automating business processes. Your organization will be able to easily extend security policies to e-mail and other forms of communication. Plus, enjoy familiar Microsoft Office tools, which provide content creation capabilities that extend beyond creating and writing simple documents.

> Increases Security & Reduces IT Costs
The new releases of these products are more secure, with default settings that provide immediate enhanced security benefits to your organization—without lengthy customization processes. The complexity of deploying new software, adding new users, and managing ongoing updates has been reduced. And the programs themselves are more reliable, more responsive, and better able to recover from system hangs or stalls.
