Could You Lose 58% of Your Workforce?

According to a recent study by Harris Interactive, 58% of full-time workers surveyed said they would consider seeking work elsewhere if the economy stays healthy. This is 12% higher than last year.

The survey also revealed the top three benefits Americans wanted: high salary, company paid health insurance, and 401K plans with matched investment.

An overwhelming 82% reported that being satisfied with their employer motivated them to go beyond the call of duty, and more than half said being dissatisfied discouraged them to do more. While 67% of those surveyed reported an increase in workload, only half received a raise for the effort.

The report, titled "Working in America: What Employees Want," surveyed 1050 adult full-time American workers and was commissioned by Kronos Inc.
